Enhanced Care
The Enhanced Services Unit at GrandeVie

The Enhanced Services Unit at GrandeVie (ESU)   is a special program designed by a team of experienced caregivers. Its objective is to assist residents in maintaining and/or regaining independence. The program provides a level of care substantially higher than that which is found in traditional adult care or assisted living facilities. The services are similar to those offered in skilled nursing homes, but the cost is about one-half of what nursing homes would charge.

Both long-term and short-term admissions are offered in our state-of-the-art program. Residents live in a very unique “household.” All physician-ordered therapies are provided on-site by New York State licensed therapists and are monitored by a nurse case manager. The services include Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy.

The Enhanced Services Unit at GrandeVie offers:

• Staff-to-resident ratios comparable to hospitals and nursing homes.
• Personal care assistance.
• Transfer and mobility assistance.
• Incontinence management.
• On-site medical clinic.
• Medication and nutrition management.
• Therapy services provided on-site by HectorPT -  www.hectorpt.com.
• Therapeutic recreation and leisure-time activities.
• Delicious meals and snacks served in a private dining room.
