General
Information
Case Management Service
Our case managers will assist you from
residency application to discharge planning and nearly everything
in between, including financial, medical and personal decisions.
Security
Staff is on-site and available 24 hours a day, seven days
a week. Our building is fully protected for smoke
and fire and all exterior doors are secure. Your personal
pass code or key is required for late evening entry.
VillageWood residents also have available their own personal
emergency call system and participate in the Red Cross “I’m
Okay” program.
Maintenance
Our maintenance staff will keep your apartment and the surrounding
grounds beautiful and fresh. A prompt response to
any maintenance concern is assured.

Health
& Medical Services
An On-site Doctor's Clinic
A physician is on-site regularly and a physician’s
assistant is on-site and/or on-call 24 hours a day, seven
days a week to meet your medical needs. They are part
of a medical geriatrics group and may act as your primary
care doctor if you wish.
An On-site Rehabilitation
Clinic
A
NYS licensed therapist will provide on-site physical, psychological,
speech-language, audiological or occupational therapy.

An On-site Licensed
Home Care Service Agency
Our own New York State Department of Health licensed home
care agency can provide home care and special nursing service
to you (normally following a medical/surgical procedure)
or to a loved one still living at home. You enjoy
the comfort of familiar staff and affordable cost.
Medication Assistance
We will, at your request, handle your medication setup to
assure that you receive the proper dosage at the correct
times. Our contract pharmacy will deliver right to
your door.

Activities and Recreation Programs
Our experienced staff provides a variety of daily activities,
including: games, card playing, exercise/fitness programs,
gardening, gourmet cooking classes, crafts and more.
There are trips regularly planned to restaurants, shopping
centers, grocery stores, movie theaters, sightseeing and
other exciting places.
Recreational
Transportation
We arrange and provide transportation to many off-site activities,
shopping trips, museums, theaters and points of interest.
Housekeeping
Service
Our efficient staff allows you more leisure time by seeing
to your housekeeping needs. Included services such
as vacuuming, dusting, cleaning the bathroom, changing bed
linens and emptying trash are provided on a weekly basis.
Access to Senior
Campus for:
Beauty and barber shop, all-faith chapel, library, whirlpool,
special events and convenience store.

Dining
& Meals
Delicious, Gourmet Style Meals
A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily from
9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Included are a variety of
fresh fruits, pastries, breads, coffee, tea and juices.
Lunch and dinner meals, prepared by our own gourmet chef,
are served restaurant style in our beautiful dining room.
In addition to a wide variety of food, special meals are
prepared for holidays and special events. Private
parties are welcomed with advance notice.

- Our rates begin at $1020. per month
