At the beginning of my father's stay I was apprehensive. However, after a couple of weeks, I saw my father getting stronger day by day. I saw how members of the Enhanced Services Unit try to encourage my father to participate in games, go to concerts or go on rides. How they encouraged my father to eat or asked if he wanted a second helping of food or a snack later in the evening. Most important of all, smiles and warm hellos were always offered by staff…not just to my father but his family as well.
As my father leaves today, he and his family want to thank everyone who helped him regain his strength and health. We have met some very special people and will always have a kind word to share about GrandeVie.
